Dear Scouts and Parents:
Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 969. The Scouts in Troop 969 are experiencing the grand adventure of Scouting. This is a tremendously important and rewarding endeavor that will turn into a life-transforming experience.
Our Troop is dedicated to delivering the mission of the Boy Scouts of America through a strong outdoor program. With weekly meetings, once-a-month campouts, high adventure summer camp and the patrol method, Scouts develop traits of character, self-reliance, consideration of and service to others, personal courage, and above all, citizenship. In all activities, emphasis is placed on practicing the principles found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
Again, welcome to Troop 969. Let the adventure begin!

Hello and welcome, to the new Troop 969 web site!
We are happy to bring Troop 969 into the 21st century with our web site. To keep you informed of all you need to know about the Troop through advancement, our calendar, and updated events.
Troop 969 developed and maintains this website for a variety of reasons including:
- Keeping our Scouts and Scouting families informed. The Internet provides the fastest way to communicate schedule changes, and late breaking news.
- Sharing our adventures with family, friends and the Scouting community.
- Letting our community and the world know about our Troop, its activities and objectives.
- Scouting offers something for our community's youth and Scouts gives back to the community through service projects. Most people aren't aware of this and we hope to add yet another way of communicating this through the Internet. And hey, we may even get lucky and recruit some new Scouts to our Troop!
